1. Everyone ever punks out on "We Three Kings". They never sing the third or fourth (can't remember which) verse, which has my favorite Christmas lyrics ever*: "Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying, sealed in a stone cold tomb". Merry Christmas!

2. 426 renditions of "Winter Wonderland" into the week, I finally realized it's "later on, we'll conspire/as we dream by the fire". I always thought it was "later on, we'll perspire", which, in my defense, sort of makes sense when you're sitting next to the fire and have been tromping around in the snow in those heavy snowsuits all day.

3. "Toys" sure as hell does not rhyme with "Pies".

*Note: my actual favorite Christmas carol lyrics are "Still through the cloven skies they come, with peaceful wings unfurl'd". It never fails to give me chills.
